A self-cleaning pool system, also known as an in-floor cleaning system, is a technology designed to automatically eliminate debris and dirt from a swimming pool.
This system employs cleaning heads strategically placed on the pool floor. These heads, known as pop-ups, emerge from the pool floor to clean and retract once finished.
Typically installed during the pool’s construction, these heads are positioned throughout the pool’s surface, including on benches, steps and walls.
An average pool may feature 15 or more pop-up heads distributed across various zones. Despite the number of components, this self-cleaning system is completely unobtrusive. The pop-up cleaners sit flush with the pool surface when retracted so that you can swim without obstruction.
