Commercial POOL HEATING
NCS Pool Heating has thirty years of experience in commercial pool heating solutions. This means we’re in high demand for specialist pool heating projects in retirement villages, hotels and strata living complexes in the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Sydney, the Hills Shire, the Northern Beaches, New England, the Mid North Coast and Dubbo regions.
Commercial pool heating requires a special kind of expertise because of the size of the pool, the regulations involved and the expertise needed to provide optimal heating solutions in very specific business contexts.
Elderly residents, retirees and children at commercial swim centres are quite particular about the temperature of a pool. A heated pool can make the difference between a great online review and a bad one for a hotel, while for swimming teachers, there’s nothing harder than trying to persuade a reluctant toddler to get into a cold pool.
NCS Pool Heating has installed solar heating as well as inverter heat pump and gas heater systems at many Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter and Sydney commercial swimming pools. Commercial businesses include Coughlan Swim Centre in Newcastle, Fern Bay Retirement Village, Maroubra Seals Sports and Community Club as well as the brand new Birubi Beach Resort.
Rheem Accent Pool Heat Pumps have led the Australian market for over twenty years and are designed for maximum heat transfer and efficiency. Manufactured in Australia and favourites of the industry, these units are installed to major aquatic centres and specified where the highest quality of component, design and control is essential.
Transferring heat from the air, the Rheem Accent Heat Pump provides the advantages of solar heating without the need for direct solar gain to a collector. While the rate of transfer is highest on warm days, heat gain is even made in sub-zero temperatures or overnight, providing the potential for year-round heating.
Designed with the commercial user in mind and with a nominal heating capacity extending from 35kW to 354kW, an Accent Heat Pump can meet your every need.
We have special expertise and an in-depth experience with providing the best pool heating options available to retirement villages, resorts and swim centres. Here’s just a few of our satisfied customers:

Boambee Bay Resort was looking for a reliable solar heating system to replace their current underperforming heaters. The resort was having issues with warranties, parts and backup service for their current system
We solved their problems with a guaranteed warranty and back-up service if required. They chose NCS Pool Heating partly because of our expertise and experience installing Australian made Rhino panels and the fact that we’ve been established for thirty years in the region.
We designed a system using 200 square meters of Rhino polypropylene panels across eight roofs, configured to run in conjunction with a gas heating system which allowed the resort to quickly heat or cool the pool if needed due to seasonal weather fluctuations.
Ryde Hospital wanted to be able to use their outdoor pool for 12 months of the year for patient hydrotherapy. They already had a solar heating system in place but required a system that they could keep their pool at a consistent temperature of 28 degrees celsius the whole year round.
We installed two IPH70 Inverter heat pumps in conjunction with a thermal blanket and roller. Because of the inverter technology used with the heat pump units, the hospital was able to drop down the output and therefore the power usage in the warmer months which helped achieve great savings in operating cost.
The client was unhappy with the current design and reliability of their pool heating system and wanted a complete upgrade. They were getting frustrated with the downtime during which the pool couldn’t be used. This was often caused by a product fault.
NCS Pool Heating was able to set them up with a comprehensive redesign and installation of a new system using better quality, more reliable parts. The underperforming solar panels were replaced with Australian made modular Rhino panels to better utilise the roof space available and we were able to offer them a guaranteed backup service in the unlikely event that it was required.
The caravan park was looking for the most efficient way to heat their pool from the peak periods around the September school holidays through to the cooler period at the end of April. Thanks to NCS Pool Heating, both the adult and kids pool are now sitting at 28 degrees for 8 months of the year.
NCS Pool Heating Installed an IPH 100 Inverter heat pump for the main pool and an IPH 55 heat pump for the kid’s pool. Being Inverter units the system is able to run at reduced power in the summer months and then increase its output only during the colder months for optimum comfort and a great cost saving in the electricity bill.
The client had a strip matting solar heating system in place that had constant problems due to the high winds in the area and damage caused by cockatoos biting holes in the collector, this had, in turn, damaged the Colourbond roofing.
NCS was employed to remove the old system and install a new panel system that maximised the available roof space and also handled the high winds that impacted the beachfront resort.
