How to determine how many panels can fit on your roof
1. Measure the height and length of your roof: Start by measuring the height and length of your roof to determine the available space for solar panels.
2. Select panels that fit the height of your roof: Choose the panel size that best matches the height of your roof. Ensure that the panels can be accommodated without overlapping or extending beyond the roof’s edges.
3. Select the number of panels for the length of your roof: Determine how many panels can fit along the length of your roof. The goal is to achieve a total square meterage of solar panels that matches or exceeds the area of your pool for optimal heating efficiency. For reference, most pools are approximately 30 sqm.
Example: If you have a 30 sqm pool, you would need enough panels to cover a similar area. You could select:
- 3 x 14 Panel Kits (12.18 sqm each) = 36.54 sqm
This combination would provide more than enough coverage to efficiently heat a 30 sqm pool.
