Boss Solar 40mm VacRel® is a high-performance Vacuum Pressure Relief Valve for Solar Pool Heating. It has been designed to allow filtered air to easily enter the system when the pump switches off.

Without a VacRel®, water within the system will struggle to return to the pool, causing significant negative pressure.
This can result in vacuum crush of the solar collector and, in some cases, PVC pressure pipe. The VacRel® breaks with pressure by allowing outgoing water to be replaced with filtered air, eliminating internal splits or leaks due to vacuum crush of the solar collector tubing.
