Commercial Pool Heating Clients
Boambee Bay Resort
Boambee Bay Resort was looking for a reliable solar heating system to replace their previous, old and underperforming heaters. The resort was having issues with warranties, parts and backup service for their current system.
We designed a new system using 200 square meters of Rhino polypropylene panels across eight roofs, configured to run in conjunction with a gas heating system. This new system allowed the resort to quickly heat and cool the pool when needed and throughout seasonal weather fluctuations.
Our team also provided the resort with a guaranteed warranty and back-up service, if required.
Ryde Hospital
Ryde Hospital wanted to be able to use their outdoor pool for patient hydrotherapy year-round. While they already had a solar heating system in place, they required another system to help keep their pool at a consistent temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, no matter the season.
Our team installed two IPH70 inverter heat pumps in conjunction with a thermal blanket and roller. By combining the inverter technology with the heat pump units, the hospital was able to drop down their output and therefore their power usage in the warmer months, which helped achieve great savings in operating costs.
Tea Garden Grange Retirement Village
The client was unhappy with the previous design and reliability of their pool heating system and wanted a complete upgrade. The village experienced continual product faults, which often left them with a pool that was unable to be used.
Our team created a comprehensive redesign and installation of a new system using better quality and more reliable parts. The previously underperforming solar panels were replaced with Australian-made modular Rhino panels to better utilise the available roof space. We also provided the business with a guaranteed backup service.
BIG4 Holiday Park
The caravan park was looking for the most efficient way to heat their pool during peak periods around the September school holidays through to the cooler period at the end of April.
Our team installed an IPH 100 inverter heat pump for the main pool and an IPH 55 heat pump for the kids’ pool. Being inverter units, the system is now able to run at reduced power in the summer months and increase output during the colder months, providing optimum comfort and energy savings. The holiday park’s adult and kids pools now sit at 28 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
Diamond Head Caravan Park
The client had a strip matting solar heating system in place that had constant problems due to damage from high winds and cockatoos biting holes in the collector.
Our team was able to remove the old system and install a new panel system that maximised the available roof space and also handled the high winds that impacted the beachfront resort.
